Dan Rountree Commissioned Art, Murals and Design
Dan Rountree’s art has shown in galleries from New York City’s Jacob Javits Center to the Blu Gallery in San Jose, California, as well as The Gallery on 5th in Naples, Florida and the Crimson Gallery in Sedona, Arizona. Paintings and murals by Dan Rountree have been commissioned for numerous special events including the opening backdrop paintings for the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, special events by Mercedes Benz International, the YMCA, NCAA, Salt Palace of Salt Lake City, and the General Board of Discipleship of the United Methodist Church. Nick Saban, the head football coach at the University of Alabama, commissioned Dan Rountree to reintroduce “Coming Home”, the 1988 original watercolor of Bryant-Denny Stadium. The watercolor serves as a fund raiser for Coach Saban’s personal charity “Nick’s Kids” in 2008. As an illustrator, Dan has created the artwork for numerous books and articles published by the American Bible Society in New York City and the Upper Room in Nashville, Tennessee. Dan Rountree, a plein air artist, has included on his resume recently commissioned paintings of large oil panels of Cowboys & Horses and an incredible Africa Safari mural. He also has completed numerous wall & ceiling murals for home-owners who desire Dan's expertise.
