2013

Rafa Becker is the son of Oscar and Ondina Becker. Rafa played golf at Wichita State University for 4 years, graduating in August 2013 with a degree in International Business.

He participated in 3 pro events in 2013 with a T3 at Casa da Paz Invitational and a 4th place finish at the CBG ProTour-Etapa CCSP. He also finished 42nd at the European Tour Q-School first stage in Portugal.

As an amateur in 2013, Rafa had 2 first place finishes; he was low medalist at the Missouri Valley Conference Championships and placed first at the US Amateur Qualifier. He had 2 other top 5’s, finishing 2nd at the Brazilian Amateur and 4th at the Northeast Amateur. His other top 10 was at the Mexican International Amateur.

2012

In 2012, Rafa finished 1st at the Desert Shootout, the Brazilian Amateur, and the Diet Pepsi Shocker Classic. He had 4 other strong finishes in 2012, taking 2nd place at UCF Rio Pinar Invitational, 3rd at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic, 4th at the Boiler Maker Invitational and 4th at the Ram Masters. To round out 2012, Rafa also had 6 other top 10’s as well.

2011

2011 was a year that Rafa won twice. He finished 1st at the Brazilian Amateur and at UTA Waterchase Invitational. His other two top 5’s were 2nd at Rice Planters Invitational and 5th at the Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate.

2010

Rafa finished 1st at the Brazilian Amateur in 2010, 2nd at the Pirana State Open and at Faldo Series South America, and 3rd at the Sao Paulo State Open.

2009

As a Junior Amateur in 2009, he finished 1st at the Brazilian Junior Amateur and 4th at the South American Junior Championships.

2008

Rafa had a 1st place at the Brazilian Junior Amateur in 2008 and a T8th at the Junior Orange Bowl.
